Stacey Alexander, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC
Stacey is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care who graduated with her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She first began her nursing career with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Del Mar College. Stacey then further pursued her interest in nursing, graduating with honors, from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has been a Registered Nurse for 11 years, gaining experience working in pediatric private duty, NICU/Nursery, pediatric phone triage, developmental pediatrics, and in the hospital on a general pediatric floor. She also holds a certification in legal nurse consulting. Prior to her nursing career, Stacey served her country in the United States Army National Guard.
Stacey has always had the desire and ambition to work with children after hearing the story of her own premature birth. As of February 2020, she has been working alongside Dr. LaCour at 1960 Family Practice, seeing children 0-18 years of age.
She is an active member of several professional organizations including the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners; American Academy of Pediatrics; Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing; and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
She was born and raised in a small rural South Texas community. Stacey, her two boys, and their dog; LadyBird recently moved to the Katy area in February 2020. She enjoys traveling, hunting, baseball, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her boys and family.
